How does change happen? How does it happen in our minds, in our bodies, between people and institutions? My work focuses on forces and histories of change. I am a multi-disciplinary and multi-modal thinker, relying chiefly on philosophical and theoretical methods, interdisciplinary collaborations, archival work, and community-engagement.
“If theory is not the crystallized resin of experience, it ceases to be a guide to action. I offer history, politics, and theory that live and breathe because they are rooted in the experience of real people who fought flesh-and-blood battles for freedom.”
—Leslie Feinberg
