Thinking change

Welcome to the website of Dr. Perry Zurn!

How does change happen? How does it happen in our minds, in our bodies, between people and institutions? My work focuses on forces and histories of change. Specifically, I analyze curiosity, gender, and political resistance as material-discursive locations of transformation. I also explore how these forces and their histories can illuminate contemporary ethical and political debates.
